As a member of
the Peoria Humane Society you will receive our quarterly newsletter
Pawprints, filled with valuable pet care information, upcoming events
in the community, legislation updates and lots more! All donations to
the Peoria Humane Society are listed in Pawprints by name (amounts are
never listed). You may also send a memorial donation in memory or
honor of a pet (or human loved one!) and it will be listed in our
special "Memories" section. |

The Peoria Humane
Society and the Peoria Animal Welfare Shelter (PAWS) are not one in the
same. The Peoria Humane Society is a not-for-profit organization. Every
dollar donated to the PHS goes directly to benefit the animals. PAWS is
owned by the City of Peoria, the Peoria Humane Society and the County of
Peoria and is operated by the City of Peoria. Any monies donated to PAWS
will go to the City of Peoria. |
