In celebration of Be Kind to Animals Week at the beginning of May, the Peoria Humane Society hosts a poster contest for students in our partner schools.  Students illustrate examples of our core values of peace, kindness, responsibility, and respect. PHS encourages kind treatment of animals and believes that KINDNESS COUNTS!

The posters are judged for creativity, use of color, and the content of the message. KINDNESS COUNTS is the theme each year, with the underlying message to promote kindness, responsibility, peace, and respect towards animals. 

Winners are awarded prizes for their participation in the poster contest. Congratulations to 1st Place Winner, Amaya Pannell!
